Four illegal wildlife traffickers were arrested on Sunday near the Yaounde-Nsimalen international airport in Cameroon, a wildlife agency official told Xinhua on Monday. A court in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has sentenced a man to five years in prison for driving 26 smuggled pangolins from Vietnam into China, local authorities said Sunday. Despite the police crackdown, wildlife smuggling and trade in parts of endangered animals continues unabated in the Kathmandu Valley. Sleuths of Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police nabbed two persons with a huge amount of pangolin scales from Chabahil today.
